Well, given the sensitivity of the topic we write about here, I guess we are bound to get it from all sides.

When I read well established bloggers talking about ‘Google Alarmism’, I can’t help but think of what thier motive must be, or that they must just downright thoughtless about ‘the bigger picture’ (great article).
And I’m not just picking on Google here - I’m raising a bigger question…

“Do you really think that the gathering of all of this information will have NO ill effect in the future…?” And have you not heard that ‘information is money’ and ‘money is power’ and ‘absolute power corrupts absolutely’. Trust me: the government has access to your conglomerated file at Google. And Yahoo!. And MSN.

Not afraid?

Not yet…? Well, you don’t know what the future holds.

Anything can happen.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

If they’ve got your entire surfing habits, they’ve got your personality. If they’ve got that, they can deliver information to you in such a way that you believe what they want you to believe (covert brainwashing through thier ’safe’ channels). I leave the rest to your imagination…

And I suggest you use your imagination, because NOT using it will mean serious trouble for all of us… we’ll just think whatever they want us to…
