Well, I’ve been saying it would happen for about a year now, and the time has finally arrived… Yahoo, MSN and more are finally getting into offering website publishers the opportunity to display revenue generating ads that are brokered by these giants. This is in direct competition with the Google AdSense program, and will help to benefit small website publishers as well as large…

As an example, here’s a funny site about men’s underwear that displays these ads - like the ones on the left side and top of our pages. Yep. We MAKE MONEY from them there ads. Not allowed to say how much though (it’s against the rules). You can find out how you can do it here.

Yahoo and MSN have finally realized the earnings potential that smaller website publishers (like us) can offer as a collective. Since nearly half of Google’s revenue is generated from these smaller sites, I’d say the battle to fill the war chests with advertising revenues is beginning. The winner will ultimately be decided by them that uses thier treasure wisely.

The losers, unfortunately, will be us. The users. You’ll see more ads everywhere (including here). You’ll be tracked even more. Yahoo and MSN will soon display the friendlyish Big Brother traits that Big G Bro’ does. And yes, you WILL be brainwashed, through more advertising, so THEY can track you more, so THEY can get to know you a little better, so THEY can make you believe whatever THEY want, whenever THEY want.

Who is ‘they’?

I don’t know. I just know they exist.

How?

Same ‘ol, same ‘ol, that’s how.

Where there’s big money, there’s corruption of some sort. But now we’re dealing with even MORE evils than just money… and that is the power of “information” …collected, coalated, sorted, categorized, utilized, manipulated and forged - information. Forged into what? WEAPONRY - to be used against you.

Really. I mean it. Just check out human history since recorded time. It HAS happened.

Trust me, the stories will soon be leaking. Maybe here, maybe not. I don’t know.

Only Google knows (and maybe God too - if Google lets him know).
