Hey All;

Well, this is our little corner of the websphere, and we’ve chosen to feature this topic - ‘Is Google Evil?’ - for many reasons…

First, even if it is conspiracy theory, there are a lot of very striking facts that have to make one ponder the question… ‘Is Google Big-Brother?’, and if so, ‘Is this a good thing, or a bad thing?’. In any case, being in the ‘business’ (web design and SEO), and having the knowledge, ability and reasons to do so, we felt it the perfect outlet for our causes. They are:

1. The Question has to be asked - by as many people as possible. This is our way of presenting it.

2. As is the goal of most time-consuming endeavours - we would like to monetize our efforts while providing a valuable forum for others to gather information to form and voice thier own opinion about the subject. Thus, you’ll find monetizing elements throughout the site. You will also be able to access information on how we did it, so you can do exactly what we’re doing, yourself.

3. We want to give YOU a voice. Tell us your opinion. The thoughts presented herein are just our OPINION, which may change from subject to subject from time to time - so tell us what you think of what we’re thinking, which may sway, from time to time, as mentioned - so try to sway us - we dare you.

4. It’s all in fun anyway, so we can say whatever we want.

How we’ve decided to present this little project, is by offering commentary and opinion about items and articles we find relating to Google by asking “The Question” about each item we find. As Lester puts it… “to have a running commentary on how we feel about related facts, news and opinions available about this subject (is Google evil?).

So, we know that many will agree with what we’re doing, and many others will disagree. We just want to be open in our purpose of this site, so there is no mis-understanding of our plight…

On the topic of original content, and why we comment on and ask ‘The Question’ about items and articles we find ‘out there’…:

There are those who have labeled themselves ‘professionals’ or ‘experts’ in the field of SEO, blogging, web design, internet ethics, etc…, who have - in the name of perpetuating quality industry standards - sputtered off whatever the other iconic industry ‘gurus’ have deemed so and righteous. This gives the wanna-be’s the ability to do the most important thing in SEO and internet marketing, and that is to create content. (Note the heavy importance of content generating article writting in SEO and internet marketing materials.) So really, this regurgitation is mearly for self agrandization or corporate promotion - but it certainly is NOT original content. To create original content would require one to ponder an issue, then offer a UNIQUE opinion. Regurgitation results in the perpetuation of mistakes and falsehoods, and causes a belief structure that supports and feeds itself, and thus is hard to change. But I’m going to ask you to ponder the points made by us herein yourself, and come up with your own belief.
