Well Hello Again Everyone;

Yes, it has been nearly 9 months since I last posted. No, I am am not pregnant, but I did get f***ed back then. But I’ve let that go.

Seems there’s a lot more going on in front of our eyes that is so “in your face” we can’t see it. More on this later. Actually, not even in this post, but like, later later. Specifics first.

I’ve been very wrapped up in all sorts of educational phenomenon over the past while, and have been enlightened on many issues - which has given me a whole new perspective on things. Can’t say right now if I’ll be posting lots or none in the near future, but posting nothing doesn’t mean there’s nothing to post about. OH CONTRAYER MOAN AMEE. (yea, I know that is spelled wrong). There is an overwhelming amount of things to post about the Google camp. And it all ties in to a much larger, Orwellian prophecy of a controlled state.

Seems the mainstream is finally agreeing with me? Check out this post at over at a non ‘tinfoil hat’ link building blog. Read it. They clearly are implying their belief that Google is Big Brother, by linking to Google, using the term “Big Brother” - like this - Big Brother. See, if we all link to Google using the term “Big Brother”, whenever someone does a search for “Big Brother”, Google.com should show up as one of the top results, right under something about George Orwell or 1984, I’d hope. That would make me giggle. Like a little girl. Some poor, sleeping soul may get woken up by seeing Google at the top of their search about Big Brother…. right now it’s all TV based ‘reality’ show (yea, right) garbage. Wise old George doesn’t even show up till page two.

Oh yeah, not only do I wear a tinfoil hat, I also wear tinfoil condoms and use tinfoil arse-wipe as well. And i wrap all my food in tinfoil before I eat it. It takes the flavor away, but it’s better than swallowing a microchip (from wikipedia) that can control my mind. Think I’m a freak? Check out Project MKUltra - also from Wikipedia.

Oh, here’s an entertainingly enlightening perspective on net neutrality…. which would effectively silence me. Not like I am a booming voice, but I would just be a pebble in a mudslide of sites that you would have limited access to…

Just yesterday, the judge presiding over the Google/government case ordered Google to be evil…

As mentioned at Threadwatch.org by HardBall - the government wouldn’t want something this bad unless it had real value…

A good question to ponder would be: “What’s going to happen WHEN the CHINESE government requests ALL of Google’s data - OR ELSE!?”

And as you all know my stance, it is my supposition that Google has ALREADY given the Gov everything they want, and it might even be one day revealed that Goog IS the Gov in disguise… but that’s for you conspiracy theorists to prove. I’m too busy making money off Google AdSense.

As I said to Matt in Vegas, what happens 20 years down the line if the United States gets a president who makes George Bush look like an utter left wing loonie and his crew get into power. The Dept of Homeland Security officer comes in with a piece of legal paper in his hand and says, “We’re taking all that data for something we are working on and this subpoena says we can!”
It worries me that although the nice left wing engineers, Mr. Brin, Mr. Page and of course the good Mr. Cutts will do everything they can to stop the officers getting the data but they won’t be able to do much.
I went through a dodgy time in a past life when an extremely dodgy, fat, stinking, lying, theiving bastard of a newspaper owner spent all his employees pension money and when the fucker disappeared off the edge of a yacht in the Atlantic so did the pensions of not only the current serving employees but also the retired employees who needed this money to live.
I was one of the lucky 12 people who were based in Amsterdam and there was a Dutch Law which said that our pension money couldn’t be put in with all the other pension money in the UK, US and Australia so my money was saved.
I think the moral of that story is that it is really up to governments to start speaking up and making better laws to start saving their citizens data and I think that it is down to governments to start asking questions about this now.
Matt, you asked what are Google doing that the others aren’t doing. First is the 2038 cookie. Why and what reason - why should you keep data on what my mother does on Google after she dies - if she doesn’t come back in a year, she probably won’t be coming?

Well hello again folks. I’m just getting back from picking up my nads from laughing so hard about this whole ‘Google is not cooperating with the government’ scam.

I’ve had many a critic say “Hey, where’s your proof they’re cooperating?” (BTW: I’m not saying they’re cooperating - I’m saying they probably have already given the guv EVERYTHING, before all this subpoena stuff.)

Well, OK, I can’t prove they’ve been coooperating with our government, but they do cooperate with governments, and their stance sounds very weak to me…

Question:
If Google is based in the USA, but the Canadian government asks for their data, do the laws up there have more weight than those down here in the good ‘ol south? - If so, and Google dumps their load, then .ca sends all the data down here cause like, we’re on high alert, eh! - and we always get what we want from them wimps.

Another question:
What if China demands all their data - and they refuse… is that the start of WWIII? (I don’t think they’re wimpy.)

Another sillier question (because I had to ask in the first place):
Is Google really above the law? Blatant copyright infringement, ignoring subpoenas, what’s next???? Imprisoning me for saying all this….???

A colleague recently sent me link to the new FREE WEB SITE ANALYTICS TOOL from GOOGLE - and asked me what I thought…

Of course, my jaw nearly hit me in the nads - simply because the implications of what is going on with these guys is just unreal. All these tools they’re giving us ALL come with a price - your freedom.

Once they know everything about you - they will start bombarding you with messages that are tailored for HOW YOU LISTEN - thus, easier for you to be manipulated, and soon, yes, you WILL become one of the BORG. Resistance is futile. If we let this sort of thing continue.

Don’t resist - just don’t USE this stuff. Don’t give them your INFORMATION ( = GOLD ). They’ll stop. Their search function will be better off if they just focus on that.

I love cheap stuff - not badly made, but rather well priced. Who doesn’t though really. We all love the idea of cheap phone calls around the world, cheap internet access, cheap online porn, cheap gas…

But the price paid in the long term may actually be very high. Think P.T. Barnum, that circus rogue from the last century. He coined the sucker born every minute line and I fear that our friends at Google are betting their IPO on that very fact when it comes to the digital realm.

What self respecting San Franciscan would not jump at the chance for free high speed internet service provided by that mammoth of the internet world - Google, with it’s new test service in the Bay Area.

And even those with the lowest phone bills at the end of every month are eventually going to sign up for GoogleTalk, or GoogleTap as I like to think of it. The Google bar is everywhere, so from a product placement point of view they have a huge advantage in the long term over all other VOIP providers. Skype may have brand awareness, but Google has product placement in spades.

By way of a beta test, Google has forced an entire industry to revisit the idea of free internet and has now seriously sped up the world wide switch to VOIP. Everyone trusts Google, so everyone will put faith in VOIP and free internet. So happy will we all be with all this cheap stuff that we will forget all about privacy issues and personal space. All the calls and surfing we do will become information, readily ‘catalogued and filed’ by Google, just like they said they would do with the world’s info.

A free on ramp - talk about the best location for a giant cookie to track you and wow! the irresistable price point. And with GoogleTap, even our voices can now be ‘catalogued and filed’ for future reference when the world is divided between Us and Them and sides need to be taken and opposition quelled.

Can they not just be happy with being a search engine? Why all the cheap add ons? Is it like crack in the 90’s - sell it cheap so your client base expands, get them hooked, then own them forever. I don’t want to be owned just because some amazingly democratic technology devolved into a monopoly of ‘organized information’ sold to the higest bidder (read corporations and gov’t) while none of us were looking.

I have a son to be born any minute of any day over the next week and a half and I hope he does not grow to be the sucker for that minute of that day.

Let’s all take a little time to teach ourselves and each other another old adage - Too Good to Be True.
